His Majesty Meets Families and Staff from Rachel House

Back again with another quick post.  It seems that while His Majesty was in Kinross today he took time to meet with families, staff, and volunteers from Rachel House.  Rachel House is part of Children’s Hospices Across Scotland.

Rachel House, in Kinross, is a ‘home from home’ for families. It has a range of facilities including a hydrotherapy room, large accessible garden and lots of areas for relaxing and fun. It also has areas for reflection, bereavement support and care.

His Majesty met the families of Orla and Izzy, and also spoke with a staff nurse and a volunteer.

The hospice gifted him his name spelt out in their  unique CHAS alphabet, designed by the children they support.

I don’t have many details right now, but you know how I feel about Children’s Hospices…

I just wanted to let you know about His Majesty taking the time to hear about the great work being done at Rachel House and everyone at Children’s Hospices Across Scotland.
